Hum Tum Aur Ghost (2010) is an Indian ghost movie written and directed by Kabeer Kaushik and produced by Arshad Warsi. The film stars Arshad Warsi and Dia Mirza in lead roles. Boman Irani, Javed Sheikh and Sandhya Mridul play important supporting roles in the film. It was Filmed primarily in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Plot

The film starts with Armaan (Arshad Warsi), a young orphan photographer, living in the train station since he concepts that he sees ghosts inside his real home. Then it shows that his loving girlfriend Gehna (Dia Mirza), who is totally obsessed with Armaan’s “fake” story about seeing ghosts. One day, he is shocked when he finds 20 ghosts inside his living room, they really are just seeable for Armaan, and they all have each wish for themselves before their spirits go to heaven. But Armaan is not a time waster and picks only two ghosts so he can accept their wish. A man and a women, first he goes to Kapoor (Boman Irani), the eldest ghost there, and accepts his wish to transfer all his leftover money into his wife’s name. When that happens, he goes onto Carol’s wish, who is crazily looking for her son Danny. Armaan tries all his best to look for her son Danny, but is unaware of him and tells her that he couldn’t find him. The ending shows Carol coming back to life just to see her son one last time, who turns out to be Armaan. When Armaan finds out he calls Gehna over to tell her the good news, that he finally found his mother and Gehna now thinks that he is imagining this and gets fed up with him. Gehna can’t stand living with Armaan anymore and leaves him. Armaan runs after her, but unfortunately she is in a car and takes off, but she crashes and brutally dies, and when Armaan comes, he can’t stand the sorrow, and sees Gehna as a ghost, now Gehna knowing that Armaan wasn’t imagining it, Armaan begs to God that she would come back, and God agrees and brings her back to life. The film ends with Armaan / Danny marrying Gehna, as he sees Carol (his mum), for the last time when she leaves, and then Armaan’s problem about seeing ghosts disappears and Armaan / Danny and Gehna live a happily normal life.
